Cut-Out

The space represents only an impressive volume of large exhibition hall, with an accentuated entrance and restaurant. The building is situated in the axis of the main access and is designed as a detached pendant of the manor. The architecture is analogous to the architecture of the manor geometrically correct, monolithic and subdued in its form, the copper facade coating with it’s green patina corresponds to the green burnt clay tiles cladding of the steep hipped roof, and the height does not exceed the cornice of the existing building. In this way, both buildings form a whole with the common interspace – it is no longer a yard, but the central square. The square presents cut-outs in the ground, a large green patio and strip skylights that illuminate the lower floor, while indirectly "pointing out" the fact that a part of the museum's program is below the platform level.
