The broader area of control includes a comprehensive location of a central urban space, dealing through the proposed strategy with the re-arrangement of existing sport activities into a comprehensive connected system of a sport-landscape recreational park. Beside the placement of the building of the National Gymnastics Centre, it is recommended as a key element a overall design system of the landscape, to utilise the placement of a walking promenade in order to play one of the main roles, acting as a link between the various programmes. By the placement of the building, the location is divided into an area of a mainly placid nature, intended for pedestrians and recreation and the more noisy area beside the main road, intended as a parking facility. The spatial composition of the gymnastics centre consists of three elements – groups of »building« forms, in which the central type is defined by its mass, the biggest volume of the hall for rhythmic gymnastics, on to which a hall for sports gymnastics is added on the southern edge. On the north side of the hall, a unit with service-administrative content is linked, with the ground floor is defined by a programme of public character (entrance, shop and restaurant) due to its logical connection to the market area – plaza in front of the complex next to the main entrance.
